The Newton Fund supported a workshop on different methods of methane measurements held on 10th  to 11th May 2016.

This was attended by post graduate research students from the University of Nairobi and scientist from Africa at Aberystwyth University, Aberystwyth, UK.

The field station fish ponds are being populated using fingerling sourced from lake Baringo through the  Collaborative Efforts of Dr.R. Nyankanga and Dr.J. Ochieng. who brought the  parent stock which is now being multiplied.
