E-CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION (SCP) PRACTICES IN THE HORTICULTURAL PROCESSING SECTOR

 The HortiGreen Project (Inclusive Green Horticultural Processing Sector in Kenya), an action implemented by Fundación SUSTALDE, University of Nairobi (UoN), Consumer Information Network (CIN) and Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) is pleased to announce the first E-Conference on Sustainable Production and Consumption (SCP) Practices in the Horticultural Processing Sector on 5-7 October, 2020. The project team (HORTIGREEN) composed of staff from Department of Food Science, Nutrition & Technology as well as Wangari Maathai Institute for Peace and Environmental Studies are calling for Abstracts on the  thematic areas in the Horticultural Processing Sector

  • Green Financing Opportunities
  • Sustainable Energy Management
  • Waste Handling and Management
  • Sustainable Consumption Patterns
  • Water Management and Conservation
  • Certification, Eco-labeling and current Innovation

The abstract should be in line with the aforementioned themes and include;

  1. Title of the abstract
  2. Name(s) of Author(s) and Institutional Affiliation(s)
  3. Should be between 250-300 words; Font size 12, Times New Roman
