One Health Workforce-Next Generation National Health Case Competition

The USAID One Health Workforce - Next Generation (OHW-NG) project, in collaboration with
AFROHUN Kenya, invites current students (SOHICs, OHCC etc.) to the National Health Case Competition.

Current students are invited to participate in this extracurricular event, where they will be challenged to come up with a solution, within a specified time, to a given One Health challenge. Students will be given the opportunity to apply theories and concepts learnt in class, and showcase their knowledge, critical thinking skills, leadership and presentation abilities while competing for the prize award.

Interested students/teams are invited to make their registration submission here:
The registration submission should include a letter of motivation, incorporating a statement of commitment to the case competition process and availability during the entire competition duration (max 300 words).

Review Criteria: Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of experts and will be based on the strength of the motivation, communication skills and team composition. All students are welcome to participate. Gender-sensitive, multidisciplinary and multi-school teams are highly encouraged.
Prizes will be available including  a determined prize will be awarded to the team with the solution
that best addresses the given One Health challenge. Certificates signed by AFROHUN will also be
issued.

National Health Case Competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate students and registration deadline is 25th August, 2020.
