The College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences Principal Professor Rose Nyikal welcomed all new students to the new normal due to COVID 19 Pandemic. It is part of the freshmen orientation where new students are welcomed to the CAVS community. It is unfortunate that the students were not able to report physically but hoped that soon or later there will be reprieve and students will come to the campus physically but meanwhile everything including learning will be on virtual platforms.
The students now had the rights, responsibilities and privileges of the University of Nairobi and were urged to exhibit their responsibility by taking their learning seriously.
Other College management board staff including the two deans from Faculty of Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine and Wangari Maathai Institute Director also addressed the students.
