International Women’s Day Celebrations

On this International Women’s Day, though unnoticeable to many, understanding Reproductive and Health Rights is crucial in the search for sustainable solutions to preserve the ‘Mother Earth’. The right to determine whether, and how many children to have, when and with whom to have them should be enjoyed by everyone in the society. Realized, this freedom would ensure: gender equality, reduced maternal mortalities, reduced unintended adolescence pregnancy and reduced unsafe abortion.
