The 3^rd African Conference on Precision Agriculture (AfCPA 2024) started today 3rd of December 2024, and will run for three days to 5th December 2024. While the main conference site is in Marrakech, Morocco, there will be a network of in-person satellite conference sites across Africa, Nairobi included. The Nairobi site will be at the University of Nairobi, University Towers, Main Campus.

A team of Jiandsu Tianxiang and the Chinese Academy of Sciences made a courtesy call to the Faculty of Agriculture, today 28th November 2024, following their expression of interest within the faculty. The subject of interest was exploration for dry-land Rice and wheat farming and other Technological collaborations between Jiangsu Tianxiang Material Technological Company Ltd, China and The University of Nairobi
