The University of Nairobi in collaboration with Thomas More University invites applications for the second Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) courses on Tackling Global Challenges course. This will be an elective course for all students who want to learn more about other cultures or collaborate on impact topics with students at Thomas More, Ghana and Kenya. The backbone of the course will be Sustainable Development Goals and activities will include individual assignments, portfolio, group project, presentation focus on working in interdisciplinary and Intercultural teams. Upon completion of the course, students will be awarded a certificate of participation from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences.

In November 2021, The University of Nairobi and Thomas More University signed a collaborative agreement MOU which has seen more than 26 University of Nairobi students taking part in and Inteprofessional collaboration in Health Care together with students from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences Belgium, Br. Tarcisius Prosthetics & Orthotics Training College, Nsawam Ghana, and Santa Thomas Manila University from Philippines.
