KUHNE FOUNDATION EDUCATES STUDENTS ON THEIR INITIATIVES

Dr. Daniel Zapata from Kuhne Foundation, Hamburg, Germany paid a courtesy call on the Dean Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Moses Nyangito on 9th November 2022 at the faculty’s Upper Kabete campus.
The Kuhne Foundation was established in Switzerland in 1976 and is well known for its programs to advance research, education, and training in the logistics and transportation industries. Additionally, it funds humanitarian, cultural, and medical endeavors. The Kuhne Foundation is actively involved in operations and virtually always starts the projects it finances.
Dr. Zapata had also visited the Campus to educate students on the initiatives carried out by the Kuhne foundation in strengthening collaborations between universities around the globe and to onboard more students to the foundation.
During the interaction with the students, the students agreed to sensitize their peers and fellow students on the work Kuhne Foundation does as well as promised to take part in the annual Kuhne foundation lottery that enables students to travel to Germany for a two weeks summer school initiative by the foundation.
