Livestock Sensors Pilot at University of Nairobi

Today, ShoShin Innovation Hub presents to you another coincidental #K county series, however, in our #AgricultureandFoodSecurity pillar. With our esteemed Academic partners, University of Nairobi - Upper Kabete, Kiambu County led by Prof. Catherine Kunyanga, Dr. Willy Mwangi, Dr. Abuom, #FacultyofVeterinaryMedicineStudents and....#yourShoshinProjectsCaptain herself, we’re piloting our next breakthrough: AI and IoT powered LIVESTOCK SENSOR TAGS that track temperature and movement.

Why it matters:
  -Early detection of sickness.
  -Smarter breeding cycle management.
-Less reliance on constant physical observation.

This pilot is a step toward a future where farmers can remotely monitor herd health and productivity, saving time and reducing losses.
