Using his linkages with University of Copenhagen under STRAPA, he contributed the formulation of strategic plan for WMI, and teaching and learning platforms development. Prof. Wahome brought together resource persons for development of PhD and MSc course material in environmental governance. Together with the Copenhagen University team, he developed the original SLUSE concept and coordinated it for the first four years. He taught PhD and MSc from 2012 to 2016, and continues to supervise students’ research to date. Further, he supported and offered guidance on writing STAKE project and provision of technical guidance on STAKE implementation. He participated in site selection and architectural drawing development, including ideas on learning platforms. Participated in early construction supervision committee meetings. Served as senate representative in the WMI board. He continues to support WMI in various capacities when called upon.
