Under Socially inclusive adaptation knowledge integration for resilience livelihoods in Northern Kenya (SOAK) project, knowledge mapping was carried out in four wards in Isiolo County namely; Merti, Garbatula, Kinna and Oldo Ngíro in 24th - 27th March 2021
This activity Led by Dr. Staline Kibet and Dr. Oliver Wasonga both from LARMAT aimed at consolidating adaptation knowledge from various social groups; elders, women and youth.
The University of Nairobi through the Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology (DFSNT) and the Department of Plant Science and Crop Protection (PSCP) in conjunction with Purdue University and support from Rockefeller Foundation conducted a training on key requirements for value addition of mangoes and other fruits and vegetables.
