The 'Kuku Safe' project team, operating under the Food Safety Lab led by Prof. Catherine Kunyanga, recently paid a courtesy call to the Dean’s Office at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nairobi.
The team is currently conducting research activities at Burma Market, where they are collecting poultry and environmental samples. These samples will be analyzed for antimicrobial-resistant (AMR) pathogens as part of a broader food safety initiative.
The Faculty of Agriculture through the Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology and Food Advice Accelerator Program participated in the Africa Future Food and the 10th Edition of FAMASS Food Expo event at Sarit.
