At the official launch of De Heus Kenya’s new animal feed manufacturing facility in Athi River, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture delivered a congratulatory address on behalf of the institution. He began by acknowledging distinguished guests, including representatives from De Heus, national and county government leaders, industry partners, farmers, and colleagues from academia, before expressing his excitement at the launch of the state-of-the-art facility.

The Department of Plant Science & Crop Protection at the University of Nairobi is thrilled to announce significant achievements in research and leadership, highlighted by a major publication in a world-leading journal.

The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nairobi, hosted representatives from Odoo as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The meeting aimed to reaffirm the commitment of both parties to implement agreed areas of collaboration. Key focus areas discussed included organizing industrial visits for students and developing an educational programme aimed at enhancing students’ business skills and industry readiness.

The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nairobi, hosted representatives from MZawadi Tech and Shoshin Innovation Hub as part of ongoing efforts to operationalize a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The meeting focused on reaffirming the commitment of all parties to collaborate on key areas of mutual interest. These include the co-creation and co-development of agritech innovations, as well as the co-commercialization of solutions aimed at advancing the agri-food sector.

CIRAD is the French agricultural research and international cooperation organization working for the sustainable development of tropical and Mediterranean regions. CIRAD is a public establishment (EPIC) under the joint authority of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Today, on behalf of the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, I am honoured to officially launch the Kenya Science Translation Hub.
